A Special Invitation to Students
As the IMA Fresno Student Chapter is not currently active, the Fresno Parent Chapter warmly welcomes students from California State University, Fresno (Fresno State) and all SCCCD Community Colleges to step into an active leadership role on our board beginning July 1, 2026.
If you are a student who is passionate about accounting, finance, ethics, and professional development — this is your opportunity to make a difference, build your resume, and help shape the future of the IMA Fresno Chapter. If you are interested in becoming a board member, please attend the board meeting immediately following the Ethics Training session on March 25, 2026.

We believe that a diverse and inclusive board — one that includes the voices of students, early-career professionals, and experienced practitioners — makes our chapter stronger and more relevant to the entire Fresno community.
Your Voice Matters
As your Chapter President, I am always eager to hear from our members, students, and community about how we can better serve you and strengthen our organization. I am deeply committed to building an IMA Fresno Chapter that is:
• More inclusive — welcoming professionals at every stage of their career
• More diverse — reflecting the rich and vibrant community of the Central Valley
• More equitable — ensuring every member has access to the tools, education, and connections they need to thrive
If you have ideas for upcoming topics, speakers you would like to hear from, or tours and professional development opportunities you would like us to organize, I would love to hear from you. Please do not hesitate to reach out at any time: fresno@imachapter.org
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for your continued trust, support, and engagement with the IMA Fresno Parent Chapter. It is because of each and every one of you that this chapter continues to grow, serve, and inspire. I am humbled and deeply honored to serve as your President.
I look forward to seeing you on March 25th!
Onwards and upwards always,
Lolita Araim
